Amazon Trade-In is a service for customers to send an item (mobile phone, camera, book...) into Amazon in order to pay the customer.
I created an ad that shows the customer how it works.
One issue that customers had was that sending in items to Amazon they would need assurance that the product would be documented when they sent it in and
In order to solve the problem, we added an app that would allow the customer to scan the item's barcode to register the item into the system.
The other issue that customers have was that it took a long to get paid Amazon credit.
The solution was to allow the customer to get immediate Amazon credit for the product based on what the customer estimated the condition of the item based on the Amazon standards that were included in the app scanning process.
This created many scenarios that developers had to account for. I created a flow that included al scenarios (The item was worth less than the customer thought, The item never came in...). This flow represents all the possibilities for the Developers to use to create the proper experience without the customer having to understand the complexities of the transaction.
